This is truly a strange brew. Nice reddish colour with fine head. It is very sweet and fruity. Some strange artificial cherry notes in the flavour. I don't know if I like or not.

A deep red beer with a huge light brown head. The aroma is extremely sweet with notes of alcohol, berries, and citrus. The flavor is also very sweet with strong notes of alcohol, which gives it hints of metal - too sweet and alcoholic for my liking. The flavor also contains notes of berries and wood, and it has a dry end.

A dark amber beer with a fine light brown head. The aroma is of sweet caramalt. The flavor is awful - too sweet with notes of caramel and the alcohol burning the mouth. Yuk - I don’t like this.

33 cl bottle. This one 6.6 % Abv. No yeast in bottom. Reddish amber colour with a rocky but fast disappearing head. Sweet aroma of grain, caramel and malt. Nice flavour of berries and malt, but overall a good beer but not great.

SHIG (4962) - Wasilla, Alaska, USA - JUN 9, 2007
Bottle with a spooky design: Poured a reddish-orange with a off white color head. The aroma was sweet and hints of cinniman to my nose. The flavor was very sweet candy malt with a berry or fruit finish.

Bottle: First off the bottle presentation is awesome and nice to look at, with all the lines as writing in white which brings out the red. Poured a red amber with a thin white head. Fruity sorta cherry aroma. The taste was sweet berry malt flavor, very candy and lasting finish. The best Gordon I have had from the finest series!

Can. High fluffy but lasting off-white head. Clear light red body. Light berries aroma. Relatively carbonated with a fair amount of hops bitterness and some dusty notes. Berries are present but the overall impression is bitterness. Short aftertaste.

Tasting at my place. Courtesy of Fonefan. Red-golden with an OK head. The aroma has notes of malt and apple and the flavour has light notes of malt, apple, candy sugar and light citrus. The finish is dry. Considering the style this is quite nice.

Una amber a bassa fermentazione veramente strong. di colore ambrato carico, schiuma fine e persistente, dai sentori molto caramellati, luppoli mediocri, buona persistenza

Drink cold (8°C) Eye: pours an reddish-brown color with a medium and quickly dissipating white head and high carbonation. Nose: not much other than hops Mouth: sparkly, grapes, prune tart and red berries. Palate: red berries again, black currant even and hops. Overall: very fruity and refreshing beer. You won’t feel the high percentage of alcohol.
