I’m not going to say this is a great beer, but put a craft name on it and say how you recreated a classic euro style and scores would have been different... Having said that, it’s too filtered for its own good. The red copper looks are okay, but the taste is flat and alcohol is way too prominent. On the other hand, it has a certain herbal tea appeal that I did oddly appealing. And it drinks surprisingly well. As said, not a good beer, but easy to bash just for its alcoholic heritage. Red-amber coloured, ok head. Quite sweet, alcohol reasonably well hidden. Not really my thing but ok. imdownthepub (14546) - Banbury, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - NOV 2, 2004
Bottled at The Kulminator, Antwerpen. Red brown beer with huge white head. This was on a promo for Halloween so we took the opportunity, slightly soulless lost beer with a strange mix of flavours, mostly a bowl of fruit but then a stabbing hop or an acidic malt. A cauldron full of oddities, which combine to a fairly bland finish. Ok but nothing ghoulish about it. Jukkabro (3484) - Tampere, FINLAND - MAY 24, 2005
Dark red, hints of brown on color. Medium yellow head.Thin aroma: mildly sweet, chocolate and some skunkiness with mild alcohol. Flavor is better with sweetness, chocolate and caramel, ends with medium alcohol and licorice in aftertaste. Medium bodied. Dorqui (2258) - Brescia, ITALY - FEB 13, 2006

Light brown color, little beige head. Skunky, sweet, mild caramel, chocolate and alcohol in aroma, still not very good aroma. Medium bodied. Overly sweet, caramelly flavor with hints of chocolate and strong alcohol in aftertaste. Some skunkiness in aftertaste too.

Smooth of medium duration head. Burnt red color; enough extinguished and little fizzy one. Light ash and burned wood scent. Slightly pungent taste with overpowering bitter and alcoholic notes. Lightly top heavy and long-lasting final.
can, 8.4%. Clear chestnut colour, stable light brown head. The aromais perfumy and has estery yeast notes and pepper. Flavour is spicy, perfumy, sweet and peppery, strangely sugary. The mouthfeel is a bit thin for its ABV.stouby (4666) - Holbæk, DENMARK - MAY 15, 2008
