Gordon Scotch Ale was born in the limpid highlands among isolated lochs and haunting Scottish castles. This brown beer, reminiscent of a dark ruby, is full of contrast - both strong and smooth. Its creamy head is delectation for the palate. This unique nectar can also be discovered under the name of Douglas Scotch Ale. Has been renamed Finest Scotch in 2006.
Note: ABV at some point from 8.6% to 8%.

Pours a mahogany/deep ruby with tiny off white head. Little in the way of aroma but you can tell its going to be sweet. Taste is sweet malt and some berry fruit, also get some sweet liquorice. Not offensive but not exciting.

Aroma: sugary hard biscuits (those ones grandmas always give you and you hate), molasses, herbs, berries (cherry), barrel wood, nose of molasses ; Appearance: Dark reddish brown, tan/white frothy foam ; Taste: medium to heavy sweetness, low bitterness ; Palate: medium body, sirupy feel, low carbonation, sweet finish. Overall: too sweet for my taste.

Vackert rdbrun. Provning p De Klomp

Bue a Bruges.

Bouteille 33cl, V&B Grenoble.

Aroma: lots of scotch and malt - and not in a good way; Appearance: very dark amber with thin white head that dissipates quickly; Taste: ugh. Extremely malty. Thats all you can taste. Palate: heavy body with long, malty finish; Overall: never again.
