COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Gordon Scotch Ale was born in the limpid highlands among isolated lochs and haunting Scottish castles. This brown beer, reminiscent of a dark ruby, is full of contrast - both strong and smooth. Its creamy head is delectation for the palate. This unique nectar can also be discovered under the name of Douglas Scotch Ale. Has been renamed ’Finest Scotch’ in 2006.
Note: ABV at some point from 8.6% to 8%.

Color marrón oscuro, rojizo si le da la luz, con capa de espuma de un blanco sucio de dos dedos de grosor y retención decente. Carbonatación alta. Textura oleosa y ligeramente chispeante. Aroma ramplón y poco expresivo. Caramelo, alcohol, metal. En boca hay caramelo, pasas, metal, alcohol. Postgusto alcohólico y ligeramente metálico.

nathanvc (796) - Brugge, BELGIUM - JUN 5, 2017
Bottle from Delhaize. Pours dark amber/brown with a minimal tan head. The aroma contains caramel, sugar, butterscotch, roasted malt and toffee. It tastes medium to heavy sweet and very light bitter, which counters a possible cloying. Soft fizzy carbonation, syrupy texture, medium body, slightly metallic finish. I might even have this again, but not too soon.
