gizmo_ber (190) - Steinwenden, GERMANY - DEC 24, 2014
A little fruitiness on top of a roasted malt. Just the right amount of spice and bitterness to off set. A decent holiday ale.

MisoW (3582) - Bratislava, SLOVAK REPUBLIC - DEC 21, 2014
Bottle at home, courtesy of Cuso. Pours brown color, lightly beige head. Aroma is sweet, spicy, dark berries, cinnamon. Taste is sweet, spicy, cinnamon, bit roasted malt, some hops.

MrTipple (4968) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - DEC 14, 2014
Aroma: alcohol, intense caramel, grain and bread malts, light toasted flavours. Appearance: clear, dark brown, massive, creamy, beige head. Taste: medium sweet. Palate: intense caramel sweets progress and intensify, lively carbonation, liquorice coming up, quite long finish. Overall: very malty and sweet English Strong Ale, slightly too fizzy, missing the “Christmas” spices. Bottle from Beers of Europe, Kings Lynn.

niquillis (2752) - Stoke on Trent, Staffordshire, ENGLAND - DEC 14, 2014
On tap at Den Engel, Leek. Pours mid brown with off white head. Good chewy dark fruit and spice Xmas ale. This is what Xmas beers should taste like.

Bottle from Carrefour, Brussels, Belgium. Well, I got used to drink Belgian Strong Ale so this feels like a bit light ot not dense enough!

allmyvinyl (10628) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - DEC 8, 2014
330ml bottle from Beers of Europe. Pours clear dark brown, red tinged, thin off-white head. Aromas of light spice, ginger, clove, strong toffee-malt notes. Taste is quite sweet, more spice. Bit sticky. Warming booziness. "It’s the most wonderful time, of the year!"

ABT_S54 (352) - West Midlands, ENGLAND - DEC 6, 2014
33cl bottle served in a Delirium Noel glass. Pours a translucent dark brown which when held to the light shines a nice garnet colour. Mouthfeel is medium to thin with a nice balance of carbonation. Aroma is malt and spices. Taste is toffee, molasses and spices with quite a pronounced bitterness. Tastes like a Scottish style Belgian (ala McChouffe) with added spices. OK but not up to the other Belgian Xmas ales.
