Tap @ Fermentoren, Aarhus. Pours clear brown with a small offwhite head. Aromas of malt, caramel, light spice, chocolate. Taste is light bitter, caramel, sweetish orange, malt, sweet berry-like notes.

Vestergaard (2089) - Aarhus C, DENMARK - NOV 16, 2016
From tap at Fermentoren Aarhus. Pours a dark, clear amber with a small white head. Aroma has caramel malts, sweet toasty malts, nisseøl, pretty weak. Taste is sweet, toasty, light metallic bitterness, but in general pretty anonymous. Average to low carbonation and a medium full body.

Luneylane (226) - Taipei City, TAIWAN - NOV 4, 2016
A bottle from l’Apero off licence, drunk at home. A little early, but the mercury slipped below 20 last night so why not? Bottle one month out of date, not that it would matter... Aroma: very rich, brandy, Christmas cake. Appearance: very dark brown, maybe opaque, too dark to tell. Modest, tan head. Palate: full-bodied and sticky, average carbonation, long boozy finish. Taste: very complex - plums, raisins, chocolate. Well-balanced - sweet and bitter in equal measure. Another winter classic.

- dunkelrot-bräunliche Farbe mit zarter Schaumbildung - intensivste Aromen nach einer malzig-karamelligen Süße mit einer leichten Brotbeigabe - perfekte Carbonisierung - die Süße dominiert das Bier schon sehr, wird teilweise etwas zu aufdringlich, aber nie wirklich unangenehm Fazit: Das nenne ich mal ein gutes Weihnachtsbier

Kirkas, punertavanruskea olut kohtalaisella, mutta aika nopeasti katoavalla vaahdolla. Sokerinen, karamellinen ja hieman marjainen sekä alkoholinen tuoksu. Maku sokerinen, alkoholinen ja marjainen. Pehmeän öljyinen ja keskitäyteläinen suutuntuma. Yksiulotteinen, eikä todellakaan jouluinen.

Tap at Sapporo Craft Beer Forest. Dark brown. Nose is caramel, fudge, raisins. Very sweet flavor, cloying. Lots of caramel and raisin. Too much for me.

Clear amber color, small white head. Alcohol, biscuit and caramel malt aroma. Begins sweet-ish with caramely notes, than turns to more alcohol with roasty finish. Medium body soft carbonation. Okay.

Bottle, 330 ml at Pivkan, Zagreb. Pours amberish brown with solid beige head. Caramel, toffee, dried fruit, spicy. Medium bodied. Quite nice actually.

Bottle of 33cl, in a Thistle glass; from the fridge. Well... The beer is nor good nor bad : with her deep brown colour and her creamy head, the taste is just sweet and alcohol, with a sticky aftertaste... Nope, but yes.
