The beer has a nice look. The beer has a beautiful deep dark red color. The beer is quite clear. The beer pours a decent amount of a little bit rough almond colored foam. The bulk of the foam collapses and a little drape of foam remains on top of the beer. The smell is nice but a little bit mild. The beer has a nice alcohol aroma. I also clearly smell some roasted barley. There is also a nice fruity aroma, grapes and cherries. The taste also has a nice fruity sweetness in the front of the mouth, reminding me of fruits like grapes and cherry. Later a alcohol flavor kicks in. The finish is long and strong and contains mainly a bitter roast taste. The way the flavors follow each other is very nice. The flavors keep building from soft sweet to strong bitter. Very well done.

Dit kerstbier heeft een kastanjehouten kleur. Het weinige schuim trekt wat weg. De smaak is bitter-zoet. Bitter van koffie, zoet van kandij. Ook wat citrusschillen en specerijen te herkennen. Lekker rondom de feestdagen.

A clear amber color with off-white head. Aroma of caramel, raisins and brown sugar. Taste is well balanced with sweetness and alcohol. Nice beer.

Bottle from the Real Ale Store, Newark. Deep Ruby colour and an off white head. Aroma deep spice and Christmas fruit. Taste toffee and fruity sweet. Slides down very nicely.

////// bouder je boude Very good sweet beer, rich in alcohol, to be drunk at the right time and place like all good things. Dark red-brown color, rich taste and complex enough to return without tiring. Why "Christmas"? I wonder. But it is sure that in the heat, it would pass less, or only in half bottles, which are not good for business ...

Bottled 330ml. -at Pivkan beer fest. Slightly cloudy red/brown coloured, small off-white head, whiff of alcohol in the nose. Sweet malty, dried fruits, brown sugar and some spices with noticable alcohol in the finish. Pretty boring beer.

From elcervecero. In Teku glass. Watching Sons of Anarchy 3x01. Its surprising that the brewers of the infamous "finest" series have been able to brew this. Yummy. Just a bit more body for it to be perfect

Bottle at Magic Beer Room, zagreb. Dark bronze color with an off white head, clear generally. Soft aroma, dates, raisin, distinct alcohol. Taste.... somewhat light raisins, sticky maltiness, deceptively light but with an unappealing finish, like burnt sugar - not not caramelized, just burnt. Ugh. Slightly sugary. So overall.. unappealing I’m afraid.
