nybol (2311) - DENMARK - DEC 11, 2015
Let krydret. Ellers ikke meget smag af den store alkoholstyrke. God dyb smag af malten.

Bornyensis (321) - BELGIUM - DEC 5, 2015
Een zeer lekker bier, een goede smaak en schuimkraag, wel traag te drinken.

McSherman (669) - Aachen, GERMANY - NOV 29, 2015
Dunkelbraun, rötlich.erinnet an Cola. Mit etwas beigem Schaum. Aromen von Röstmalz, gebranntem Zucker, Nüssen, Brot und Gewürzen, leicht holzig. Dabei leicht süß und moderat bitter. Sehr angenehmes Weihnachtsbier. Empfehlung!

Bottle at home. Aroma of malt, caramel, toffee, raisins, nuts, some candy sugar, hint of sweet dried fruits, hint of chocolate. Flavour is sweet with a light to moderate bittersweet finish. Only slightly boozy. Body is medium. Nice ’dessert beer’.

HuldgaardRJ (179) - Sønderborg, DENMARK - NOV 9, 2015
(6) Slightly above average. This beer is sold in Sønderborg, two locations - one for 20 DKK and the other place for 35 DKK - keep your head straight - it is worth 20 DKK tops.

Dejlig juleøl, smager virkeligt godt, en god sødme. Spiritus smager ikke igennem.......

Gordon Xmas 8.8% Picked up at a Carrefour Supermarket during my trip to Belgium and served in my new thistle glass I picked up at the Jeu de Balle flea market. This was less than 2€. It pours a deep ruby brown with a dense thick beige head. The nose is intensely malty with cinnamon , figs and a huge breadiness - liquid lunch yes sirree. The taste is bready, malty sweet toffee, cinnamon biscuits and candied plums in a med-thin body. Overall a nice Christmas beer for the price.

Shark_Pants (763) - AUSTRALIA - JUL 28, 2015
Dark and clear ruby red with small ivory head, nice lacing. Muscat wine aroma, with raisins, dates, caramel, glacé cherries. The taste, as expected, is quite sweet - all the elements alluded to in the aroma are also reflected in the flavour. Just enough bitterness to stop it becoming excessively cloying. Full bodied, oily and hides the ABV well. This one remind me of an english barleywine with some xmas style additions. Nice winter sipper.
