Bottle sample at a tasting. Thanks Dror. Clear deep amber color. Very sweet aroma with caramel, molasses and fruits. Flavor is also very sweet and sugary with candies, fruits, alcohol hints and a slightly drier finish. Medium-bodied. Decent. 6/3/7/3/13=3.2
33cl bottle from Drink of Fulham. Pours; dark brown/mahogany with a foamy off-white head. Nose; smokey, leather, yeasty, stewed winter-berries. Taste; initial caramel malt, ginger fire, wood, mixed herbs, lots of dark fruits (plums, dates, raisins), bitter chocolate, nutty, slighty syrupy with a bitter aftertaste. Bottled, 330ml, aged 4.5 yrs from Bellingers Garage, Grove, Oxon. Dark brown with off white head. Rich, fruity beer, christmas pudding, raisins on a dark malty body.
