Pours dark brown with tan head.
Aroma of dark fruits and malts.
Taste is caramel malty, thick mouthfeel with lingering dark fruits - cherry and prunes - and candi sugar topping the whole for a sweet and yet warming boozy finish.
I grew up loving all of the John Martin beers especially their Xmas beer; one that always had a good spot in our fridge. rane (1108) - Nibe, DENMARK - JAN 17, 2012

Bottle from Beers of Europe. Poured a bright ruby with a thin, dense off-white head. Spicy aroma with tempered notes of toffee and molasses sweetness. Initial flavours of grassy hop, orange peal and cloves. More spiciness on the finish with nutmeg, ginger, cinnamon and some grain. Lots of festive flavours all in harmony. lello4ever (1248) - ITALY - JAN 1, 2017
