Icedwarf (1724) - Etten-Leur, NETHERLANDS - JUL 26, 2014
Donkerbruin bier met weinig schuim. Smaak is zoet en kruidig, caramel, chokolade, noten. Blijft lang hangen. Uitstekend bier, smaakt ook in de zomer.

Gangstergafje (1184) - Capelle aan den IJssel, NETHERLANDS - DEC 26, 2015
The beer has a nice look. The beer has a beautiful deep dark red color. The beer is quite clear. The beer pours a decent amount of a little bit rough almond colored foam. The bulk of the foam collapses and a little drape of foam remains on top of the beer. The smell is nice but a little bit mild. The beer has a nice alcohol aroma. I also clearly smell some roasted barley. There is also a nice fruity aroma, grapes and cherries. The taste also has a nice fruity sweetness in the front of the mouth, reminding me of fruits like grapes and cherry. Later a alcohol flavor kicks in. The finish is long and strong and contains mainly a bitter roast taste. The way the flavors follow each other is very nice. The flavors keep building from soft sweet to strong bitter. Very well done.

leaparsons (10657) - Wigston, Leicestershire, ENGLAND - JUN 13, 2002
A boozy sweet brune with atypical chocolate notes. Also present are autumn fruits as rich as Xmas pudding. The finish is quite spicy with alcohol. Happy Xmas - even in June.

UPDATED: MAY 8, 2004 Very good in the cold, cold winter. Sweet and nice long-lasting head and dark red colour.

domtom (65) - Bienne, SWITZERLAND - JAN 6, 2003
It has a superb dark brown colour with a very nice head. It has a very (almost too) deep aroma of caramel, cream, butter and mocha. The flavour lacks of specificity and is a little bit flat. The finish is pleasant with a nice bitterness. A good beer but unbalanced between aroma and flavour.

diabel (1721) - Aarschot, BELGIUM - JUN 3, 2003
UPDATED: JAN 7, 2008 Bottled Deep black body. Rocky, lightly brown head. Nose of malts: coffee, straw, molasses, ... with some liquor. Malty flavour (moderately bitter, moderately sweet) of coffee and fruits (raspberry, ...). Quite complex flavour. Well balanced, interesting but not extravagant.

ante (3373) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - NOV 12, 2003
Deep brown with big, creamy and long-lasting head. Sweet caramel, oranges, nuts and leather in aroma. Spices, chocolate, dark malt, oranges in flavour with well blanced alcohol flavour. Long warming and spicy finish with hints of syrup and chocolate. Nice x-mas beer!
