33 cL bottle. Pours almost black with white short lasting head. Smell of dark roasted notes. Taste is dominated by roasted malts, elements of chocolate/coffee and liquorice. Bottle. Pours a clear dark reddish/brown colour with a longlasting off-white head. Vinous aroma with some hints of caramel. Sweet malty caramel, toffee/chocolate flavor. Sweet warming finish with some spicy bitter aftertaste.

Warning! Early amateur rating! Dark brown beer. Riach and frothy ale. Malty tones, a little worcester sauce. Long very dry malt finish. Just a mild bitterness.
Deep maroon color with a thick light tan head that lingers. Nice lacing.
Aroma of toffee, dates and vanilla.
Flavor is fairly complex, starts sweetish with butterscotch and progresses to malts and light spice.

Bottled. Clear nut brown, average head. Malt aroma with a touch of raisin. Salty and malty, dense and lightly fruity. A fairly simple ale with a long, very salty finish.
