Bottle. A clear, quite pale golden beer with a small, white head. The aroma is fruity and grainy with a touch of rice cooking water. Rather rice-ish flavor, with grains, apples and pears and the vaguest bitterness. Thin on the palate, with a soft carbonation. Semi-dry. Lasting fruity finish. Surprisingly thin, and not very good either. 141219 Meilby (11495) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - DEC 19, 2014

Drank at Mitho Cocina Restaurant during our stay here. Refreshing, crisp. Doesnt taste like much, which gives very little to complain about. Would get again.

Nepali beer! But it is owned by a big European brewery. Sadly lacking in flavor and interesting elements - bland and watery, with no discernible hop content. It might contain some wheat and rice. GoufCustom (2003) - HONG KONG - SEP 16, 2014

330 ml green bottle bought at a Nepalese restaurant somewhere on Temple Street in Yau Ma Tei.
Dull golden yellow colour; Less than one-quarter finger head and residual soapy white foam which fades in 10 seconds; Moderate sticky lacing with active carbonation; Pungent smell of malt, with initial light skunk (lasted for 1 minute), grains, corn, light wet cardboard, hints of sourness, very light lemon and smelly grass; Medium sweet taste of light malt, with light syrup, corn, light wet paper, light lemon, minimal bitter hops and light grass; Light body. Watery palate; Mouth feel is very light malt in thin body, thinned syrup with is slightly cloying , some corny taste, nagging light wet cardboard. Poor!... Hoppiness is initial light skunk followed by smelly grass to nose. Light lemon and low grass in taste. Low bitterness in background for syrupy non-finish; Wet after taste. Sweet and light papery to mouth.
Comments: Poor lager from Nepal. The green bottle may have contributed to light skunk and slight oxidation, but all in all it’s just light-weight, teeth-numbing sweetness and useless smelly hops. Unenjoyable, and I was glad I didn’t ruin my Nepalese dinner with this crap. Drain pours!
UPDATED: OCT 3, 2014 The best known Nepalese beer next to Nepal Ice and Everest, from a Carlsberg-owned brewery in Katmandu. Thin, snow white head, colour clear golden blonde with calm sparkling. Sweet grainy aroma, typical Asian lager with hints of rice, honey, bread dough, powdered sugar and mineral water. Rather neutral taste, grainy, bit corn-like, sweetish with minerals, smooth, soft carbonation, very mild hoppiness in the finish, which stays grainy rather than becoming actually bitter. Nothing exciting apart from the fact that it comes from a country hardly anyone would go to for beer purposes.

From a bottle poured a straw color with a small amount of head. Light malty flavor with a quick finish. adasko (2233) - Poznan, POLAND - JUL 5, 2014
It’s like a tasteless lager, with no aroma and with no bitterness. But still in mind blowing hot Nepal it’s unbelievable refreshing.
