Belly Full O Beer (57) - Nova Scotia, CANADA - AUG 31, 2004
Pours a rich golden colour. Crisp refreshing taste. Not a great complex beer but great for sitting out in the sun. Pigfoot (2268) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - AUG 29, 2004
Clear bright yellow hue, small, but well-retained head. Sweetly aromatic from afar: a little floral, dry hops, on the pilsener side, with a touch more sweetness. I was a bit put off by an initial resemblance in the aroma to typical American lagers, but that soon passed. Decent, but short finish. Clean and smooth, but woefully short on flavor of any kind. Pretty much lock-in-step with any old lager. Light body, minimal texture, nothing terrible here, but absolutely nothing to remember it by, either.

NSLC Beer Gala. Can. Golden colour with a fizzy white head. Toasted wheat, faint corn aroma, similar flavours, with a light nutty bitter finish. Light to medium bodied, slightly watery mouthfeel. invalid (302) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - AUG 9, 2004
Can in Tomsk, Siberia. The can proudly says that it’s Austua’s Finest Beer or something like that. If this is true then God help that country. Tastes slightly hoppy and gassy. TipsyMcStager (1139) - Calgary, Alberta, CANADA - AUG 7, 2004
flowery, sweetish aroma. Pours a golden yellow, thin head. Light tasting, sweetness, some hops. Some malt in there. Refreshing.

Tasted from 500ml can. Straw couloured, head is fairly thick and persistent. Aroma has floral hops, and malt. Tasts creamy and malty and finishes with nice bitterness. kwoeltje (2233) - Manchester, Missouri, USA - JUL 27, 2004
Pale lager gold with white head. Some malt in the aroma. Medium body with some hops and malt. piscator34 (2508) - Winnipeg, Manitoba, CANADA - JUL 21, 2004
This is a fairly dull pale lager type beer, with a few more floral hops thrown in there for good measure. It has a somewhat disturbing green tinge to it’s golden colour too. It’s better than most North American macros, but probably not worth its additional cost. shrubber85 (11324) - Greenville, Indiana, USA - JUL 10, 2004
(can) Aroma is sweet with a hint of apricot/peach. Large amount of head on pouring. Taste non-offensive. Sweetness does not come out much in the flavor and only a vague hint of malt and hops. Another mild Austrian brew that would taste good after a day of skiing but not when you want a good beer flavor Eructoblaster (4175) - Gatineau, Quebec, CANADA - JUN 28, 2004
Canned - 500ml. Limpid golden body topped with a thin and diminishing bubbly head. Decent malty/bready aroma with some herbal and flowery notes. Mouthfeel is refreshing, hoppy and fairly carbonated. It ends with a good bitter final that also leaves some bready hints on the palate. This is a decent Helles to drink when you eat a hotdog on Stephansplatz in Vienna.
