On draught at the Pub Sörözö Bierstube in Budapest. This beer pours clear gold with columns of rising bubbles and a medium thick and rocky white head that dissipates steadily. Small patches of lacing on the glass. Grassy hops and malt aroma. Light body with flavors of mild hops, sweet honey and malt. The finish is moderately hoppy with a short bitter aftertaste. More or less average all around.

UPDATED: SEP 13, 2015 Pretty Generic pale lager. I got a bit of a skunky bottle. It is just pale malts and a hint of hops. Re-review. 500ml can, bb 7-16. No longer imported to the us. This is a much fresher specimen than originally and in a can so no skunk. Mild grainy aroma, pleasant, no sign really of aroma hops. Flavor is decent, some minty notes, light bitterness, herbs, dry, low malt, tastes super fresh. Wish imports to the US could be like this.

33cl bottle. Small white head atop crystal clear straw body. Aroma is medium sweet, grassy, light cereal. Taste is medium sweet, cereal, grassy. Light body, light crispness. This passes the "it’s really not that bad" test. Faint praise perhaps, but with a pale lager, one takes what one can get.
