Pours a dark brown color, topped with a good-looking off-white head. Malty aroma, sweet, nice notes of caramel and some coffee too. Taste is sweet at firts, roasty and coffee notes in the body, some caramel in there too. Mild and very drinkable. Not bad. slowrunner77 (12804) - Reno, Nevada, USA - OCT 5, 2014

Dark reddish brown colour with a small off-white head.
Sweet malt, dark fruits and sugary notes in the aroma.
Very typical Dunkel flavour with toasted malt, dark fruits and sugary sweetness. Rather drinkable.
Austrian Dunkel, tasted as Gösser Dark Beer. Thick, even rocky, creamy, off-white head, pretty bronze colour with copper glow, clear. Subdued aroma of caramelly and nutty malts, iron, soft leafy hops. Taste begins neutral, becoming faintly caramelly malty, sweetish, crisp and clean, bit metallic with strong carbonation, middle a nice and simple but clean maltiness, whiff of leafy hops in the finish, gradually becoming stronger but then fading away again rather quickly.
