On draught at the hotel ibis bar. Fresh keg, too. The pour is a darker clear gold with some effervescence rising up through to a huge and pillowy white head that leaves a little bit of soapy lace. The aroma is full of sharper and lightly sweet malts and a corn-like grain. It’s got what could be a flash of hop on the finish, but this is all malty lager at its finest. The flavornis much of the same. Grainy lager with a touch of alcohol and a hint of sweetness toward the finish. I like how this doesn’t have any aluminum quality. The mouth feel is a little syrupy and softly carbonated with a lingeringly sweet malt and fast fading grain on the finish. Not too bad.

Pours a clear golden color, topped with a medium sized white forthy head. Malty aroma with some grassy hop notes later on. Mildly sweet and malty, with moderate hoppy bitterness in the finish. Ok, I guess. Drinkable.

bottle from Merkur Wien-Hütteldorf. Golden colour, white head. Surprisingly good hop aroma, slightly hjerbal-resiny. Medium-bodied, malty with herbal hop accents. Decent.

500ml Flasche. Klar und golden. Minimale Schaumkrone. Hopfig. Eher wässrig, nur im Nachgeschmack leicht bitter.

0,5l bottle. This beer has a dry, bitter, almost metallic finish which leaves an unpleasant aftertaste. Gösser Märzen and Spezial are better. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle from spar in Kittsee. Pale golden color with small white head. Malty aroma with notes of coffee(???). Sweet malty taste, with very light hoppy touch and roasted notes. Strange, but better than expected.

McTapps (6984) - Reutlingen, GERMANY - OCT 8, 2014
Bottle from local Spar in Austria. The beer pours out in a clear golden colour with steady airy head and medium body. Taste of mild hops, wheat, bread, barley, mild fruits and mild straw. Easy drinkable, yet nothing special.
