On draught at El Gaucho. Apparently this is made for them, but that remains to be seen. The pour is a foggy golden yellow with a thick white head that leaves a meringue style lace behind. The aroma is typical. A good bit of grain, a light malt and a hint of metallic present. Not a lot, but the sweetness kind of exploits it. There is a light citrus rind on the finish that I like. The flavor is just as you’d expect. It’s sweet with a light maltiness and a good citrus backer. There is a hint of metallic in the grains and a touch of yeast. It’s very balanced and easy to drink. The mouth feel is light and clean with a softer carbonation and a lingeringly sweeet grain finish with just the slightest bit of alcohol. This is pretty good. chris__hartley (445) - Ontario, CANADA - JUL 3, 2015
It pours hazy copper with golden highlights; the head is bone coloured and mousse like. The aroma has notes of: toffee, wet stone, and cereal. The taste is light sour that finishes medium bitter; there are notes of: toffee, sourdough, grapefruit, and cracker. The palate is light medium bodied with medium light carbonation; the finish is short. Overall, nice mineral qualities. EAGLE82 (235) - Röslau, Bavaria, GERMANY - MAR 30, 2015

Hazy golden yellow colour with a large white head. Fruity fresh and hoppy aroma. Flowery, bitter, fresh, light sweet. A very well balanced and hamonic flavor. Overall these austrian zwickelbiers are fantastic in my mouth.bhensonb (15189) - Woodland, California, USA - OCT 8, 2014
[Vom Faß at Gosser Bierklinik in Vienna, Austria]
Pours hazy gold with a monstrous white head. Aroma is creamy, mildly, mildy roasty caramel. Med body. Flavor is light noble hop and light caramel. Finishes oh so slightly bitter. Delicious.

Medium shiny white lasting fine-laced head. Light yellow body with carbonation. Light fruity peppery hop aroma with light meaty notes. Mild grassy peppery hop taste with apple and citrus notes. Soft mouthfeel. Dry chalky grassy aftertaste. Decent. (0.3l draft, Zwetter, Salzburg.) Rastacouere (6177) - Montreal, Quebec, CANADA - NOV 1, 2007

Comments: A rather generic take on the style with faded maltiness and lots of bubbles.
