gnoff (11080) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - NOV 17, 2017
Bottled on November 13, 2017. As a blind tasting. I think it was purchased at Landbierparadies, online shop.
As "Krug-Bräu Lager".
Clear dark reddish brown color, tan head. Grainy, bread like, clean scent, a bit short on the hops. Malty, bread like, käckebröd, clean taste, again a bit short on the hops. Medium mouthfeel, medium CO2 feeling, medium bitterness.

Bottle from Bierzwerg, Greven. Aroma is brown malts, caramel toffee, dark bread, with a touch of nuts. Flavour is moderate to medium sweet and light bitter. Body is medium. Well-brewed example of the style.

Taste is getting stronger after the first sip though which makes it quite special. Not too bitter, not too sweet. Caramel toffee flavor. Dark head with mediem pores. Really good Lager.

herrklemann (469) - Graz, AUSTRIA - AUG 10, 2017
Bottle, thanks to SinH4. Dark copper with a gushing off-white head and a steady rim. Caramel, bread, nuts, leaves, wet grass, fennel, a bit buttery and smokey. Light sweetness, slightly tart, with subtle bitterness. Super slick medium body, with masterfully done, pearly but soft, carbonation. Some minerals in the bready finish. Insanely quaffable, drinks lighter than juice. Very nice.

lupuLust (342) - Franke(n) im Breisgau, GERMANY - AUG 8, 2017
UPDATED: SEP 2, 2017 Bready, süffig, mild hoppy. Lots of taste for 5%. Clean dark malt blend aroma. Some hoppy flowers finishing and dark fruits this round lager of fresh baked franconian Bauernbrotkruste with dark caramels. Well balanced with typical low carbonation. // On tap @ Café Klatsch - Dark amber colour and white head. Fresh lager yeasty taste and aroma

DrNosha (2772) - Württemberg, Germany, GERMANY - JUL 7, 2017
0,5l Flasche Krug-Bräu Lager. Die Garbe überrascht mich. Dunkles Spezi, hellbeiger fester Schaum. Sehr schön. Recht malziger Duft. Erinnert mich an ein Malzbier. Antrunk erstmal recht süss. Malz, verbrannter Karamel. Waldhonig im Abgang. Es wird mit jedem Schluck etwas weniger süss. Im Finish bleibt ein Hauch Lakritze.

50cl Bottle, tfs Harmen! Clear brown colour, off-white head. Aroma of toast, grain, dark bread. Flavour is watery, grainy, hint of roast, dark malts, bitter finish. Light bodied, watery. Not a great example of the style imho.
