COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A ‘Kiwi Classic’, Pilsner is a showcase for Nelson grown Riwaka hops. Its overt fruitiness begs comparison with Marlborough’s world-beating Sauvignon Blancs. Emerson’s Pilsner oozes citrus and passionfruit aromas and flavours. The beer’s palate shows a hint of early malt sweetness but develops a lengthy dry finish.

It is pretty much a garage standard run of the mill Pilsner, nothing fancy, or mentionable that makes this different to any other variant of the same. A Safe beer for out and about.

330ml bottle into pint glass. Hazy amber beer with thin fluffy white head. Medium carbonation. Surprising aroma of soft doughy malt. Good body, bitter taste with grainy notes. Sharply bitter finish is great. Late late fruity dryness encourages more quaffing. Great Pils.

500ml bottle pours a hazy golden color with a bit of head. Nice hop profile that balances the malt well.

Bottle. Golden color, almost clear liquid, white head. Aroma on the malty side, quite sweet for pilsener, slightly harsh light bitter. Still drinkable though. Average.
