COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Old Vilnius beer is made according to the old classic brewing traditions. This beer has a rich dark color, slight sweet taste of caramel and well-expressed hops aroma. We hope you should be surprised of this beer. Ingredients: water, pale and caramel barley malt, hops.

Fant ingen inspirasjon i denne.

Appearance: amber, clear, frothy, white foam, lasts well. Aroma: dark bread, alcohol. Taste: medium sourness, medium sweetness, lightly bitter. Palate: light body, thin feel, creamy, flat, abrupt finish, very light bitter, slightly astringent.

On tap in Vilnius. Mahogny coloured, some foam. Medium aroma intensity;banana & fruit dominates, some Malt- reminds Me a bit of Sangria. Medium body & complexity. Balances very well. Enjoyable ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

There is a strong aroma of cloves and other spices. I find it odd that others have not mentioned this. I regard this as a very nice Christmas ale, but I wouldn’t drink it in any other season. Unlike most spiced ales, it is still light enough to be refreshing and not cloying in any way. There is a hint of chocolate and it can even be drank with a dessert, which is something I rarely say about any beer - but again, it is really not sweet. This is an odd beer that’s worth trying, especially during the holidays.

Old review written before making ratebeer account. Incredibly average. It’s ok.

Bit watery plain for dunkel, but drinkable. Some bready maltiness, caramel, butter. Moderate sweetness with light bitterness. Could drink while playing beach volley, but definitely not preferable choice

590ml bottle (Gyvas, Kaunas)
Sweet malty aroma, some raisins. Darkish, small tight head. Sweetish palate, smooth, but not sticky. Malty taste, some soy aspects. Simple and drinkable. Some spiciness, in the hoppy finish, at least, but is that just the onion from the shashlik: Goes down easily.

Bottle shared by lithuanian friends. Pours reddish brown with creamy beige head that quickly disappears. Aroma of vanilla and butterscotch, not much else. Taste is quite watery with caramel, butterscotch, malt and herbs. Just.. off.

Litewskie korporacje produkuja swoje "klasyczne" piwa troche inaczej,, niz robia to polacy.
