Cloudy amber body, compact off-white head. Aroma of kvass, candied fruits, dark berries. Taste is medium sweet, medium sour, buttery. What is this again? A "traditional bock"? Well it doesn’t really taste like one, but it’s not bad.

05.09.2015. 0,75l Bottle. Thanks Ådne!! Brown colour with thin off-white head. Caramel and bread. Good flavours of malt. Ligth farmhouse notes. Butterscotch. Good one!!

Bottle sample at a tasting at Dancing Camel Florentin. Thanks Stas. Almost clear amber. Awful aroma of rancid butter, creamed corn and caramel. Horrible sweet flavor with tons of butter, caramel and vegetables. Creamy diacetyl mouthfeel. Really bad.

[email protected] De Tolly Joogipood. Pours amber with small white head (disappears quickly). Aroma is yeasty and malty, some sweet notes, caramel. Taste is lighly sweet, caramel, malty. Good brew.

deanso (10406) - Chiang Mai, THAILAND - FEB 8, 2014
bottle via a friend. Very thin white head. Almost no carbonation. Hazy golden/amber pour. Odd aftertaste. An interesting beer.

suurjuust (3964) - ESTONIA - NOV 26, 2013
Hazy orange, small off-white head. Aroma is malty sweet, nutty tones, buttery caramel notes, some hops. Taste is medium sweet, lightly bitter, mild hoppy bitterness and alcohol in the finish. Medium body, soft to flat carbonation, oily, slick texture. On the raw side, odd, but somehow balanced.

larsga (7690) - Oslo, NORWAY - AUG 3, 2013
Small beige head. Hazy brown body. Deep earthy mealy herbal aroma with nutty oily notes. Sweet, and faintly dry, deep syrupy earthy taste with mealy papery notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, mealy mouthfeel, kind of flat. Dryish floral strawy earthy fruity honey aftertaste with mealy oily nutty notes. Very nice and drinkable, really really unusual, and not at all like a bock. Nice balance. When fresh this is probably amazing. (0.75l bottle from Bamb Alynė, Vilnius.)

750 bottle. Interesting enough beer, but i was some confused about aroma. Everything is ok, but i find unknown flavour which i can’t describe. And it’s not a pleasant flavour. When i was taste this beer some early, i don’t find this note in aroma. Mysticism :) There’s not a lot of bock style beers from Lithuanian brewers, so i can say that Madona alus is probably one of most interesting Lithuanian bock beer.

Marduk (9031) - Reval, ESTONIA - JUN 18, 2013
750ml bottle (shared by FatPhil, thanks). Hazy dark amber color. Small off-white head. Alcohol, honey, sweet malty aroma. Almonds, buttery, malty, flavor. Very mild and easy to drink.
