"Biržiečių tradicinis" verdamas iš šviesaus miežinio salyklo bei gliukozės - fruktozės sirupo. Apynių kartumui ir aromatui išgauti parinktos net dvi aromatinių apynių rūšys: Hallertauer Tradittion bei Tettnang Tettnanger, tačiau šiame aluje stipriau išreikšti yra Tettnang Tettnanger apyniai. Apyniai užauginti Vokietijoje. Alus rauginamas Saflager W-34/70 mielėmis 12°C temperatūroje 8-9 paras. Išlaikomas šaltai, -1°C temperatūroje 14 parų ir dar 14 parų 0-2°C temperatūroje.ˇ
Sudėtis: Vanduo, šviesusis miežių salyklas, gliukozės - fruktozės sirupas, apyniai, mielės.

Attractive amber colour. Slightly sweet rich taste of malt and slight aroma of hops – want to drink more, but be aware – this beer is produced following the old recipe of strong Biržai beer!

Bottle as rinkuskiu tradicinis, 6. Golden clear. Maizy cerealy nose, pale, not any hop presence to speak of. Med bodied, clean, clear somewhat bitter finish. Has flavour, but is really just the pale lager bit bland maizy kind.

Clear watered gold color with small white foam. Aromas of light malt, slightly metallic, smells of simple pale lager. Palate, medium body with watery texture and metallic/and somewhat grassy aftertaste. Taste is quite simple and has grassy taste to it but it is quite malty and simple. Overall, not a fan, it has matallic taste to it, simple, lager-ish, bit strongger than average lager at start was quite bad as the bottle went on it got better, just wount say this is best example of beer from Birzai.

Clear golden body, small and quickly diminishing white head. Sourish bready and citric aroma. Medium bitter grassy taste, slightly sour, interesting aftertaste of alcohol and candy.

500ml bottle - thanks Marduk!
Pleasant bready aroma, but very light. Clean palate, light grains. Full palate. Pale straw, brief head. Nice tingly bitter finish. No sign of alcohol. Easily drinkable strong lager. Not a traditional ale.

500ml bottle as "Rinkuškiu Tradicins" (Alus Tirgus Bergi, Riga). Deep golden color. Medium size, thick white head, disappears. Sourish malts, touch of breadiness, very light grassy hops in aroma. Malts, grainy, barley, sugar in taste. Aftertaste got some of ESL perfumy alcohol, but it’s not dominant. Mild bitter hops. Quite drinkable brew.

500 ml bottle. BB 27/12/14. (Elisiejus) Saločiai, Lithuania.
Bright golden colour with a small white head. Mellow sweet malty aroma with mild fruity and honey notes. The flavour is bitterness, sweet malt, alcohol and some honey notes. Maybe not the most traditional of all the Lithuanian brews but not the worst Baltic strong lager either...

3fourths (9386) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - JUN 4, 2013
Bottle from Bambalyne in Vilnius.
Clear gold with a small white head.
A basic pale lager-like beer.
Pale malt nose of corn syrup.
Mild cement mix and chlorine / chemicals.
DMS sweet cabbage notes.
Medium-sweet red apple flavor in a drying finish.
Medium-full body, rough and fizzy low carbonation, low bitterness.

Rated 3/25/06: "Attractive amber color slightly sweet rich taste of malt and a slight aroma of hops", this description was found on the back of the bottle and it sums up this beer rather well. This lager pours a dark golden color with a tinge of amber. There is an ample amount of carbonation that immediately produces a thick head. Soon after the pour the carbonation dissapears and the thick head is reduced to a pencil thin ring around the glass, a minimal amount of lacing is left. The aroma basically consists of sweet malt, it is different than any other beer that I have sampled. I was not sure of the flavor of this beer at first, it is malty with a hint of hops. The malts have a unique sweetness, perhaps the water plays a role in the flavor. Halfway through the first bottle I began to really appreciate the taste, and the second bottle was pure satisfaction. There is a strange candy-like aftertaste and I like it. The mouthfeel is somewhat full and the finish is good, overall a very unique and tasty beer especially if you are in the mood for something far from standard.
