Our Stout was first produced in 2008 and was the first Icelandic Stout. Dark, roasted aroma, espresso beans, dark chocolate and cocoa are words that can be used to describe our Stout. It is intense in texture and character, yet relatively easy drinking and balanced.

Robe brune fine mousse. Nez sur le chocolat, le café, le malt torréfié, note lactée. Bouche souple et équilibrée, sur le cacao et le malt, bulle fine et digeste, finale acidulée. Un beau stout équilibré.

courtesy of Fabien Maître - black beer with a beige foam left; roasted malts; mocha and walnuts; creamy palate, medium-bodied, some sweetness, tart corny and bitter finish of roasted coffee and nuts; very dry - well-crafted

On tap at Saeta Svinid in Reykjavik. Dark brown. Creamy thin head. Aroma of burnt toast, coffee, occasional hints of skunk. Taste dominated by a burnt bitterness. Body is full, smooth, rich. Finishes with coffee. Not bad.

Roast and caramel with a little dark chocolate. Black like volcanic rock with great head and lacing. Bittersweet finish. Bottle at small cafe in the middle of nowhere.

Juks (1463) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - FEB 6, 2017
UPDATED: FEB 8, 2017 330ml bottle from local alco store, Reykjavik. Pours dark reddish brown with light beige head, doesn’t last long, but leaves lacing. Aroma is quite humble, coffee, roasty, tart, dark chocolate. Taste is quite sweet, coffee, roast, malts, burnt sugar, dry finish. Very easily drinkable, medium bodied, average carbo. Drinkable easy stout!

Manslow (2093) - Warsaw, POLAND - AUG 31, 2016
Szklanka. Barwa ciemna, nieprzejrzysta, piana średnia dość ładnie osiada na szkle. Aromat czekolady i kawy w smaku to samo. Łagodne na podniebieniu dobre piwo.

Glass, Black beer, small head. Aroma is roasted, coffee. Taste is the same, somewhat watery, not bad.

Bottle from a Vínbúdin in Reykjavik. As Viking Stout. Pours mahogany with a frothy cream head. Light coffee aroma. The taste is coffee and chocolate with liquorice and burnt toast in the finish. Quite light bodied, but tasty and good.
