Draft at The Free House in Nelson. Clear bright golden with a lacy white head and nice active bubbles. The aroma is bready with white wine and grass. Flavor is quite hoppy and bitter, pale malt base lending to a funky, white grape hop punch. Medium bodied, lively. Great pils. jonno (2980) - JAPAN - OCT 8, 2016
VERY hoppy Pilsner. Big peach and grape like characteristics. Full bodied for the style. Quite unique and a top notch beer. mabel (9874) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - JUN 25, 2016
[8309-20160520] Tap. Mild mineral white grape aroma. Clear, orange body with a quick foamy white head. Bitter tree resin flavour. Medium body. Good. (7/3/7/3/13) 3.3 jercraigs (10921) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - JUN 22, 2016

2016-05-20. Yellow body, small white head. Aroma is pleasant, fruity notes of lemon and another fruit I can’t nail down. Flavour is fruity, lightly bitter, interesting ok (typo?) character. Musky lemon and something I can’t place. Average bodied palate, moderate carbonation. Very drinkable. 7/3/7/3/16 On tap at The Twisted Hop, Christchurch, NZ. canadiankiwi (149) - NEW ZEALAND - NOV 8, 2015
Pear and fruity aroma. Poured from tap. Smells like it would be a sour. Has the appearance of a glass of wine poured into a pint glass, hence the name.

Floral nose. Golden cloudy body and with reasonable lacing. Fruity taste with a long dry bitter aftertaste. Strongly carbonated/furry mouthfeel. omega (899) - NEW ZEALAND - JUN 2, 2014
Not a style that I like for pilsner as this is quite dry which goes against the fresh vibrancy that I associate with this hop. 3fourths (9358) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - JAN 29, 2014
Sauvignon Blanc wine, pear, mineral water, floral esters, burnt pineapple. Soft body, moderately bitter but strongly hoppy. Savory soft mouthfeel, fine carbonation, off dry with moderately strong acidity. Pretty one dimensional but I guess it’s supposed to be. So it’s wine-like in the nose with little malt appeal but it’s a better Nelson Sauvin presentation than most single hop pilsner tried in NZ. Good aromatic representation of the hop. kiwianer (3428) - Otorohanga, NEW ZEALAND - DEC 7, 2013
The head is robust, the body gold. It smells hoparomatic, flowery, aromatic. The taste is hoparomatic, flowery, a bit fruity, bit grape, natural, aromatic. 3.6 Rangi (671) - NEW ZEALAND - OCT 26, 2013
Nice poor refreshing taste, flavour is a subtle but distinct nelson sauvin. Nice enjoyable beer.
