Another fantastic brew form Het Anker! Sampled from an 11.2 oz brown bottle this beer poured a dark amber color with a very large yellow-tan head. The aroma was a lovely mix of sweet, tangy, yeasty, bready and fruity elements. The flavor was sweet with notes of fresh pear, caramel and a tart finish. Wonderful! davidm (2081) - Sunnyvale, California, USA - MAY 3, 2010
Bottle 330ml. Exceptional beer. Aromas of banana, caramel, dough, dark fruit. Taste is sweet, with light bitterness, and long length. Palate is velvety, medium-to-full bodied. Brown, with a frothy white head. Teran (343) - Belgrade, SERBIA - DEC 29, 2017
Big bottle of 0,75 dl with champagne-like cork. Amber not so much haze, or almost clear copper, with massive beige top. Bubbles non stop. Sweet orange, toffee, cracker-like malt. Little thinner in palate than expected, but strong in everything else. Very complex and solid, but medium body is surprise. Beer hard to define, anyway first class with some non expecting elements.
