Another fantastic brew form Het Anker! Sampled from an 11.2 oz brown bottle this beer poured a dark amber color with a very large yellow-tan head. The aroma was a lovely mix of sweet, tangy, yeasty, bready and fruity elements. The flavor was sweet with notes of fresh pear, caramel and a tart finish. Wonderful! davidm (2081) - Sunnyvale, California, USA - MAY 3, 2010
Bottle 330ml. Exceptional beer. Aromas of banana, caramel, dough, dark fruit. Taste is sweet, with light bitterness, and long length. Palate is velvety, medium-to-full bodied. Brown, with a frothy white head. heavy (2911) - Split, CROATIA - SEP 1, 2007
0,33l bottle. Already puring in the glass I noticed strong beautiful aroma of hop fruits mixed with flowers, but also some nice undefined malt. Appearance isn’t any worser - amber colored with very large, creamy ebony head. Flavor is really full as stated in comm, you know you are drinking the right thing with rich malt...somewhat fruity. Soft carbonation. Long nice finish. Wonderful beer, but very expensive. But even then I will surely have it again as it is the best beer I’ve tried so far!
