750ml corked brown bottle from Goldorak. 2006 edition, 11% abv. Pours deep red brown colour, fairly clear, tan head recedes quickly leaving a light swirls of tiny bubbles on the surface. The aroma is strongly malty, sweet with raisin, cherry and caramel notes. Carbonation is fine and prickly, body is viscous, clings to glass. Flavour sticks to the tounge, malt forward, caramel and brown sugary malt, with some raisins. Finish starts a little sweet with some fruity notes, then shows some lsigns of alcohol mid tounge then a little yeasty dryness. Great drinkability for a beer of this strength. Rating #700
Bottle. Aroma of toasted malt, caramel, overriped fruits, fruity yeast. Spicy and alcoholic warmth. Heavy sweet and light bitter. Medium and sticky. A nice one DonGregorio (413) - POLAND - JUL 23, 2017

750ml bottle (thx, Alex M.!) shared with George on Greenpoint campground. Dark brown with a tan head. Aroma is brown sugar and dark fruits. Taste is very sweet and fruity. Despite it is too sweet, it is a good sipper and dessert beer. cmacklin (1179) - Lethbridge, Alberta, CANADA - JUL 9, 2017
On tap. Pours a clear dark brown with a small, creamy, short lived, beige head that leaves spotty lacing. Sweet aroma of roasted malt, chocolate, dark fruit, caramel and booze. Sweet flavour of plums, raisins, chocolate, caramel and light roast with a warming booze finish. Full body with a creamy, smooth, oily texture and soft carbonation. Excellent, lots of complexity. rxeight (3084) - Illinois, USA - JUL 1, 2017
2016 bottle. Raisins. Lots of raisins. Caramel, toffee, banana, booze. Like a lighter version of westy or a similar quad. Not a Belgian strong fan but this was enjoyable.

I have always appreciated really good Belgian beers, but this one takes the cake! The carmel finish and incredible balance make this one of the best beers I have ever tasted. If you love Belgian strong ale, then this is a MUST!

Vintage 2001 Cuvee keiser blue at Delirium. Black with a chocolate brown head. Aroma of dusty chocolate malt, slight vinegar. Very mellow taste with flavour of dusty malt, slight sweet chocolate, alcohol coming out of the throat rather than coming in. Oak, dry red wine tones, Ends with slight coffee bean bitterness and a mellowed alcohol taste along with some peachy undertones. 3,6/5
