From tap at café Gollem de Pijp (with M). White head, color light yellow (I don’t understand why it is called "golden"). Taste okay for a tripel, but it has nothing special. NordicV (2459) - Malmö, Sweden, SWEDEN - AUG 19, 2017

A popular one that I sought and found at SAQ in Hull. Not to bad, a bit too strong for me. Orange_times (310) - UKRAINE - AUG 11, 2017

Huge white frothy head stayed all the way on a hazy lemon coloured body.
Medium bodied, soft on the palate & tingly on the back.
Banana, Belgian yeast, sweet citrus, spice & a bitter finish.

Bière puissante qui crée une mousse épaisse et persistante sur une robe blond doré. Avec cette bière, "on part sur du très lourd". Evilman (269) - Taverny, FRANCE - JUL 28, 2017
UPDATED: AUG 17, 2017 Pretty much impossible to say which one’s the best between this one and the Classic variant. Just a matter of personal tastes in my opinion. I prefer the classic one, but this Tripel is incredibly good, exactly what I want when I’m looking for a great abbey beer. Strong taste in mouth and interesting abv, perfect for any occasion. Give a try to any Carolus beer you may find, these are among the best Belgian beers you can get. APPROVED BY TAVERNY’S BLACK METAL CREW! AnG_BrgNor (791) - Bergen, NORWAY - JUL 21, 2017
Bottle. Appearance is clre golden with nice white head. Aroma and taste is yeast, citrus, bread and floral. Some alcohol is present in the taste also. koleminer20 (3840) - Ann Arbor, Michigan, USA - JUL 14, 2017
Shared at a get together at ebone1988’s house with Matt and Jennifer on July 08. 330 mL bottle. The pour is a darker cloudy golden color with a large off white head and a good bit of soapy lacing as it falls down. The aroma carries a strong floral fruitiness right up front. There is a ton of banana on this, but there is nothing spicy or clove heavy about it. It’s amazing. The sweetness is great, and I just love the lack of clove. The flavor is much of the same. The heavy banana and fruitiness jump righto ut of the gate with a nice sweet floral addition to it. It’s sweet, a little delicate, but complex, and lacking clove. The mouth feel is decently medium bodied with a softer carbonation and a lingeringly floral banana and tropical fruitiness on the back end. Not too bad at all! 8 4 8 4 16 DijkBier (515) - AMSTERDAM, NETHERLANDS - JUL 12, 2017
One of the old well-known Belgian tripels, already known for decades. Long time ago, since I drank it. Bottle pours hazy light-golden, with firm white head, that quickly falls down. Aroma is nice and sweet, ripe fruits, banana, vanilla; light malty also. Taste is rather sweet, with no particular development. This is a better one among the general Belgian tripels; well balanced, and although not special/surprising attractive.
