COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
In spite of modern brewing technology, this beer is brewed according to ancient traditions. It unites, now as in the past, the best products of our soil: rich barley and fine hops.. It’s refined character, with a pure and rich taste, will captivate you. It is matured at length in cellar and bottle, and is guaranteed to be brewed only from pale malts. It is traditionally top-fermented and is 100% pure. The Gouden Carolus Triple has a unique colour and a full flavour due to its well-balanced hopping. To properly savour the Golden Carolus “Triple”, pour slowly in one movement leaving the yeast deposit in the bottle. This beer may be served cool but not chilled: 7-8°C is recommended. In 2002 this beer won the Gold Award in the World Beer Cup, San Diego, USA in the “Triple” category.

The aroma is floral, pepper, Belgian yeast, fruit, bubble gum. Flavor is. The same. Appearance is a slightly clear yellow, white head. The finish is sweet, peppery. Medium in body. Nice example of the style.

Hazy golden coloured beer with a big, white, good lasting head. Aromas of white pepper, orange, sugar, belgian yeast, bubblegum, spices, overall fruity. Taste is medium sweet and light acidic, wheat, orange, malt in a dry finish. Creamy texture, medium body, average carbonation. A light one, even with 9% abv.

Pours hazy straw colour with a big fluffy white head. Aroma is sweet and citrusy. Taste is sweet with notes of lemon, orange, black pepper, mild grassy hops, and slight maltiness. Full bodied with plenty of carbonation. A bit too sweet but quite flavourful.

lesifflebiere (1874) - Gatineau, Quebec, CANADA - DEC 23, 2016

Look: orange, hazy, not very stable white head. Aroma: fruity, slighlty sweet and rotten, light spicy notes. Taste: light sweetness, light astringency, very light spicy bitterness. Flavour: rotten apricotes, ground black pepper, corieander, light yeasty notes. Finish is slightly astringent with light candy sweetness. I prefer other kind of tripel, that is more dry and spicy. However this is a good belgian strong beer.

Hazy orange with a white head. Immediatly after pouring there’s a strong aroma of orange peel and spices floating in the air. Tastes like a standard triple, sweet but not too much, and I can feel a little of alchool in the the troat. A bit boring honestly, better stick to the Classic.
