Bottle. Nice aroma but not much Cascade, color is amber. Head is long lasting and that is beautiful. yngwie (17053) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - AUG 17, 2006
Bottled. Clear, reddish brown with an off-white head. Malty nose with beef-stock and hops. The flavor is hoppy, with resin and pine, as well as caramel and beef-stock. Medium, sweet mouthfeel. FinAle is a lot of beer, nice and hoppy, but definately not sessionable. (060812) onystrom (1333) - Magellan Hunter! - Skanderborg, DENMARK - JUL 28, 2006

Pours a neat burnt copper with a dense, somewhat transient head, and delivers fairly well on the malt and aroma. Taste-wise, nothing outstanding by my standards, but drinkable. I’m not impressed with this brewery. pilsnerrogge (2948) - Finspång, SWEDEN - JUN 26, 2006
[Bottle 6.5 %] Amber coloured with a large, dense head. Fruity hop aroma with notes of liquorice. Medium bodied with a good balance between the hops and the alcohol. MrWalker (926) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - JUN 8, 2006

Dark amber to red. Dry with tannines and a thin body. Harsh. Very harsh. And a touch of DMS on top.
Nut brown with very little white head. By appearance this looks boring but overall this is actually alright. The cascade hops makes this very pleasant - bitter, though its the only thing you can smell and taste. Finish is quite good, but again it could need a shot of something! They call this an American West Coast ale, but it is also closely related to an Eglish strong ale. Port-like character, balsamic vinegar and soy sauce, even. A bit flat, perhaps, a little more carbonation could have improved it slightly.
