This American west coast ale has a foam that is creamy, light brown and renewable. The color is beautiful dark copper and opaque because it is unfiltered. The smell is very influenced by hops, but also slightly sweet smell which probably comes from caramel. It tastes distinctly of hops and slightly caramel. Unfortunately I think it is too bitter for my taste buds. The finish is long, but the bitterness does not do, and overshadows unfortunately the other flavors,

Malty, buttery aroma. The taste is similiar with some diacetyi. Fairly dry finish. Low carbonation. A little bitter finish.

Copenhagen 13/8. Pours brown with white head which slowly disappears. Aroma with hops and caramel. Slightly tingly mouthfeel. Taste a little alcohol tinged and sweet. A bit like a Christmas beer.

Moolesen (593) - NETHERLANDS - FEB 20, 2015
Bottle 50cl. Red/brown with a small white head (you need to be fast before it disappear). Malty nose with some spices. English taste, main flavours are malt and spice. Short finish.

UPDATED: MAR 31, 2017 A dark amber, american westcoast inspired ale with high, light head. Aroma is malty, a bit roasted, maybe a hint of smoke. Taste is sweet and light bitter. A food beer, easy to drink.

50 cl. can poured in to a Tulip - 6.5 % abv. Clear, amber colour with a thin, dense off-white head. Fruity aroma with citrus, caramel malts, resin and an odd spiced, wooden note. Nuts and chocolate. Not a typical APA. Taste is sweet. Medium body with a creamy texture and a soft carbonation. Rather filling for an APA. Short, sweet finish with caramel malts, light citrus, toast and nuts. Way off-style, not unpleasant.

asimeow (292) - Sandsli, NORWAY - JUL 10, 2014
roasty, floral, earthy, red, hazy, minimal head, heavy cloying sweetness, lightly bitter, lightly sour, medium body, sticky, soft carbonation, abrupt finish. Nice, but anonymous.

Can. Clear amber, small offwhite head. Light aroma, malt and hops. Similar flavour, light sweetness. Semi-dry finish.

nazzty (1377) - Ödåkra - Helsingborg, SWEDEN - MAR 31, 2014
Pleasant and relatively dark APA with a fairly short aftertaste. The sweetness of the malt makes it feel more like an English ale.
