Flaske. Flot dybrød farve. Klassisk belgisk gær og sukker, med et udmærket bid i. Lidt subdued i smagen hvilket trækker en smule ned, men meget drikbar. Ungstrup (37558) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - NOV 19, 2008
Bottled. An amber beer with a thin tan head. The aroma is sweet malty with notes of caramel and so is the flavor, with the caramel continuing for a long time. Maria (10212) - Thisted, DENMARK - NOV 16, 2008
It’s a beautiful red mahogany color and the head is small and creamy. The aroma has notes of malt, dark fruits, bread and spice. The flavour has sweetness and notes of spice, dark, dried fruits like raisin and figs, malt, other fruits, caramel and a little candy sugar. It’s very uncomplicated and pleasant to drink. yespr (45412) - Copenhagen O, DENMARK - NOV 3, 2008
75 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden amber to hazzlenut brown with a tan head. Mild spiced and roasted malty aroma. Light hoppy. Flavour is of a medium dry biscuit malt and slight roasted. Light spiced on the back of the tongue. Lingering medium sweet breadish and biscuit flavoured finish. Grovlam (4244) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - OCT 31, 2008
Bottle. [Tasting session @ Papsoe, 31-10-2008] Large bubbly beige head that mostly diminished. Spare display of lacework. Clear dark amber color. Aroma of rye bread, mild sweet chocolate, grain, hint of dusty floral notes and light spice. Initial thought was of a Bock like beer with added spices. Over the palate came some fruity notes, with again a solid malty profile and mild spicy notes. Medium bodied with an average carbonation and mild alcoholic texture. Moderated sweet malty flavor with mild counter bitterness. Malty sweet finish.

Pours a wonderful, clear, chestnut red-brown. A small, creamy, beige head on top - fizzes away rather quickly. Aroma has lots of dried fruits, plums, raisins, some chocolate and a good deal of hazel nuts. Medium carbonation, fine mouthfeel. Flavour is a bit cardboard yeast, some good, dryish chocolate. The aftertaste is very nice with plums, liquorice and figs peeping through. Quite drinkable.
