Bottle- Beautiful hazy amber color. Small but fine light beige head. Fruity aroma with noticable and somewhat whisky-like alcohol finish. Very straight-forward taste with a hint of caramel. Very fine carbonation. All in all quickly forgotten and below usual standard for this brewery. Kalli (502) - Falun, SWEDEN - NOV 19, 2006
Bottle. Nice amber body and good lacing. Not particularly complex and a bit sweetish. Still, nicely quaffable. Borup (15157) - Albertslund, DENMARK - OCT 25, 2006
Bottle. amber colour with a small head. Fruity and alcohol aroma. Flavour is much the same. rickgordon (3878) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - AUG 14, 2006
Dark amber colour. Almond paste, dried fruits in aroma. Bit sweetish and ozon-like in its freshness. Thin mouthfeel, with almond paste most noticable. Light caramelly, feels diluted. Dried fruits. Short finish. gnoff (10793) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - AUG 12, 2006
(Sampled from bottle, thanks Marsiblursi) Clear light brown color, white to tan head. Sweet and alcohol scent. Alcohol flavor, low bitterness. Normal mouthfeel.

UPDATED: MAR 7, 2007 (Bottle) Pours a bit hazy light brown/red with hardley no head. Aroma of nougat, almond paste, acetone and dried fruits. Some chocolate. Flavour of almond paste with some alcohol. Dried fruits. Caramelly. Unbalanced sweetness, almost belgian. Stale. A bit peppery. No personal touch. Lame excuse for a barley wine. Dixen (1465) - Flagstaff, Arizona, USA - APR 4, 2006
Caramel malty aroma, with strong hop notes, light piney, also notes of some spices and light apple. Hazy dark amber body with a small off-white head. Light doughy and caramel based malt flavor, quite well hopped with a pleasant bitterness, notes of some fruits, especially peaches. A bit too alcoholic maybe, but overall a decent BW. sunevdj (4102) - Copenhagen OE, DENMARK - MAR 26, 2006
Pours a hazy brown-orange. Slightly sour. Sour aromas of spices, fruits (apple) and caramel. Warming alcohol in the finish. Disappointing. Too sour. Hildigöltur (5104) - København, DENMARK - MAR 24, 2006
Bottled. Brownish amber coloured. Fruity aroma. Sweet and fruity flavour. Notes of caramel. Hansen (8612) - Assentoft, DENMARK - FEB 26, 2006
Brown and clear. Head is somekind of yellow. Sweet and strong as a barley wine should be, but also hopped, more than a normal barley wine.
