TorbenJensen (1528) - Valby, DENMARK - AUG 18, 2015
Nice dark brown and clear beer with a foam that is thick and persistent. Indeed, I can with a finger make a gap in foam without foam pulls together again! It smells deliciously of nutmeg, hops and malt. It tastes although of all the good that belongs to Christmas and the aftertaste is long. The finish is first a little bitter in a pleasant manner, then in a short time becomes sweet with touches of honey and nutmeg. Valgreen (768) - DENMARK - OCT 30, 2014
Tap @ unibaren, døe general. Clear dark brown, medium off white head, nice lacing. Aroma, malty, caramel, chocolate notes, mild spices, Belgian yeast. Taste, malty, caramel, chocolate, spices, sweet, sugar. Medium carbonation. Oily mouth feel. Low bitterness. Bov (12636) - Bienne, SWITZERLAND - MAY 23, 2013
courtesy of Antonio Ruiz - clear dark red-amber beer with a persistent beige foam left; the aroma of nutmeg dominates leaving notes of honey in the background; full-bodied and pretty sweet; fizzy, gently bitter and with a fair dry spicyness in the finish nicely balanced by the honeyish tones olio (10281) - Tampere, FINLAND - MAR 9, 2013

Aroma has cinnamon, some ripe fruits and distant floral notes. Flavour is rather strong on cinnamon. Also some ripe fruits, spices and floral notes. Yet another too spicy Christmas beer. Decent.
Bottle. Pours clear copper brown with airy off-white head. Clear aroma of malt, hops, caramel and spices. Sweet taste of malt, honey and cinnamon. Dryish finish. Quite OK. MPA (999) - Amager (form. Nørrebro&Aalborg), DENMARK - DEC 25, 2012
Bottle. Amber with small beige head. Spicy aroma of nutmeg and cinnamon. Sweet flavour with a little spiciness. Above average. JanLaursen (3227) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - NOV 23, 2011
Tap. Deep chestnut colored beer with a diminishing brown head. The aroma is sweet, dark fruity and spicy. Taste is sweet malty with quite some caramel and notes of plums, brown sugar, chocolade leading to a mellow finish with a harsh dash of nutmeg, that gets a bit annoying after a few sips. Medium body, soft carbonation. jesperhammer (4736) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - JUL 26, 2011

I taste the 2009 and 2010, side by side. The 2009 has spend most of it’s live in the fridge whereas the 2010 has lived in my "beer cellar".
Clear brown with beige head.
Loads of honey here. Spicey and sweet.
Charamel, honey, and sweetness.
The quite high alcohol level gives the beer a fine body with low carbonation making it very easy drinking.
The 2009 is fresher and cleaner than the 2010 indicating that storage conditions in my "cellar" are somewhat short of perfect. :(
