UPDATED: DEC 27, 2017 The lighter offering from the Gower brewery, from my experience with them at least. Happy to see Tesco stocking local beers too, and so they should. A well rounded ale but not one that I find terrible exciting. Good stuff tho! allmyvinyl (11321) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - JUL 12, 2017

Clear, bright goldenrod-beeswax with a firm white head atop. Looks to be in great condition.
Don’t get too much of the cascades in the nose, thankfully?, but there is a bit of leafy green goodness and certainly some citrus that could certainly be from almost any American hop. Obviously they didn’t go overboard on the hops here and thankfully a mineral-rich yeast, clean and sparkling, shines through atop fairly snappy base malts. Light grain, hints of marmalade and a touch of bread sit on the clean finish with no alcohol or resin noted.
A good helping of malt, nicely attenuated but still providing a soft, supple texture, kicks things off and adds honey, biscuit and light white bread. Moderately fruity yeasts mix delightfully with the gentle citrus character of the tastefully done hops while mineral and water sit on the finish. Light, quenching, watery and highly flavorful as a good cask bitter ought to be. Particularly impressed by the strong malt texture here, despite the high attenuation, and the restraint shown with the hops.
Cask at the Post Office Vaults, Birmingham. Poured a crystal clear straw colour with a thin broken white head. The aroma is skunky malt, light hop. The flavour is moderate to light bitter with a light watery grainy earthy cardboard malt light hop bitter palate. Medium to light bodied with soft carbonation. Pretty awful I must say. Way too light all round and with little flavour. Struggled to even drink a half of this.
