minutemat (5662) - Shropshire, ENGLAND - JUN 26, 2017
Cask @ Salopian. Served a little too warm. Pours a deep dark brown, small off-white head. Aroma seems quite sweet. Taste presents a sweet malt character reminiscent of Thorntons toffee. Fairly dry finish with a light bitterness. Not bad.

jmgreenuk (9537) - Kuala Lumpur, MALAYSIA - JUN 18, 2017
Cask at the Post Office Vaults, Birmingham. Poured a crystal clear medium amber with a thin broken white head. The aroma is grainy malt, woody hop. The flavour is moderate bitter with a light smooth, skunky malt, floral woody hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation and a lingering bitter finish.

leaparsons (10612) - Wigston, Leicestershire, ENGLAND - MAR 9, 2017
Cask, Leicester Beer Festival 2017. Hazy golden with an off white bubbly head. Caramel and honeyed malts with lemon and light tropical fruit. Spicy with hedgerow and hints of melon. Herbal, dry finish. Pretty good.

The_Osprey (8211) - Richmond, Greater London, ENGLAND - AUG 29, 2016
Cask HP at Swansea Bay Beer Festival 2016 at Brangwyn Hall. As ’Gower Power’, 5.5%. Amber orange, still, translucent with a foamy off white head. Aroma is bready, melon, papery, musty. Body is smooth with tingly carbonation. Taste is papery melon, quite a hoppy floral tang, yeasty, apple with a drying finish. Decent session fodder.

imdownthepub (14755) - Banbury, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - MAR 14, 2016
Cask conditioned at The Charlotte, Leicester. Amber with off white head. This is rather a harsh bitter in character, sharp and a touch metallic, chemical. Drying and full on the palate. It’s okay but a slight struggle.

FatPhil (16380) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - FEB 15, 2016
Draught (Gallows Bird, Espoo, Real Ale Festival 2016)
Mid orange, small loose head. Nice sweet aroma, both malty and hoppy. Well, you can tell it’s beer made with beer ingredients, although it’s in places a bit watery. But palate is soft and mellow. Finish is quite dry and bitter. Sweet malts and twiggy hops in OK balance most of the time. However, the bitterness does build up and become a bit aggressive over time. Hard to rate this, I can imagine one day giving this 3.0, but the next day giving it 3.6, it all depends on what I want my hop experience to be.

(Cask at Gallows Bird Real Ale Festival 2016) The beer poured deep golden and clear. Its head was small and white. Aroma had creamy toffee and malts. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were creamy toffee, grass, sweetness, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was hoppy and bitter. A good hoppy brew.
