Heavy additions of wheat and Munich malts give prominent sweet grain and toast flavours, with a slight sweet orange finish.

355ml can. Gold colour, not seeing any cloudiness as per style, but the head is well formed and creamy white. Nose of honey and wheat. Taste of wheat, grains, honey and a trace of lemon. Not what I’m looking for in a hefeweizen.

cmacklin (1412) - Lethbridge, Alberta, CANADA - JAN 7, 2017
355ml can. Pours a hazy gold with a medium, foamy, long lasting, white head that laces. Sweet aroma of wheat malt, banana, bubblegum and bread. Sweet flavour of wheat malt, bread, orange, banana and light bubblegum with a crisp, bitter grass finish. Light body with a watery texture and soft carbonation. Not great.

Can. Lightly hazy medium gold, average white head. Light bready cereal and soap, not good at all.

AgentAle (1878) - Fort Mcmurray, Alberta, CANADA - AUG 8, 2016
Aroma is tart, citrus, clove, banana bread and cereal. Taste is light sweet malts, citrus, lemon grass, banana bread and some caramel. Finishes nicely with slight tartness. Appearance is a clear gold with a thin pearl head that retains fairly well.

UXO (1896) - CANADA - JUL 21, 2016
Hazy pale straw with no head to speak of; citrus, grainy wheat malt, light bubblegum/banana; moderate sweet, mild bitter, light tart; light body, crisp finish. Decent and refreshing.

reebtogi (6488) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - MAY 23, 2016
355ml can pours a pale golden color with a finger of white head that leaves only a few spots of lacing on the glass. Aroma is light citrus and grass with some mild cereal grains. Taste is a mild citrus and grassy hop bitterness with a light malty sweetness. Light bodied with average carbonation. Overall, a very light hefeweisen, more reminiscent of a macro lager. Nothing special.

Little head and golden body, some bubbles coming up for what it’s worth. Soft grain cereal aroma but not prominent. Oh yah, I didn’t chill this to any extent, my house is 10c so it’s gotta be ’round that temp. Flavour is appetizing in fact - some wheat, some citrus, balanced cereal notes and smooth grain. Like a farm I dun says. Something you’d wanna drink from Grande Prairie. Not bad at all.
