PowY (1043) - AUSTRIA - MAY 10, 2017
From tap at Craft Beer Fest Wien. Hazy amber color with a slightly off-white head. The aroma was extremely unpleasant, moldy, dank, reminding me off an old musty cleaning rag. Medium body with a light sweetness and a medium bitterness. The flavor is malty (caramel and toasted bread) with hints of ripe peach, pine, some generic hop bitterness and again some musty notes, although not as popping as in the aroma. Tried it a second time and got the same moldy smell, which completely ruined the beer for me.

Borostyán szín, szép fehér habbal. Citrusos illat. Az íze igazi keserű komlóbomba.

Az egyik legjobb IPA, amit valaha ittam. Gyönyörű narancssárga szín tartós habbal. Az első korty még gyümölcsös, malátás, ami végül harsány komlóssá válik.

midovark (1076) - Balassagyarmat, HUNGARY - JUN 12, 2016
Tap @ Fozdefeszt. Deep golden color, thin white head. Round, well balanced IPA, rather on the fruity side than the bitter one. A bit heavier body would not hurt. Otherwise fine.

Tap at Csakajósör, Budapest. Poured a murky medium amber with a frothy white head. The aroma is yeast, citrus hop. The flavour is moderate bitter with a big crisp citrus fruit, weedy hop bitter, light alcohol palate and a lingering bitter finish. Medium bodied with average carbonation.

On tap at csakajo. Hazy yellow colour with a stiff white head, that lasts as long as the beer. Nose of citrus and tangerine. Taste is medium bitter, with low carbonation. Some earthy notes, maybe some resin. Very good beer, but to be honest I expected better by the hype...

On tap @ Csakajósör - Hazy deep golden orangeish colour with a long lasting, lacing fluffy white head. Aroma is a lot of citrus, orange peel, pine and some grainy, bready malt scent. Tropical fruits, grapefruit, resinous and spicy hoppiness are very well balanced, however the taste is ruled by serious bitterness. Body is medium, average carbonation and a lingering hoppy finish. Somehow its so harmonic even in small details, so solid, so whole... In this beer, you can feel the expertise and the greatness of an infatuated brewer. One of my favourite beers.

Draught @ Csak a Jó Sör. This was a nice surprice while visiting Budapest. A really nice IPA to drink while shopping beer
