Notes from my iPhone. On tap @ Purple Pig. Slightly hazy golden amber with a very wispy fine head. Aroma is of sweet cereal, lightly spicy, and with more of a buckwheat aroma than anything nutty. Creamy soft mouthfeel, flavours of dates, light spice, vague fruit (quince maybe?). Again, nothing distinctly nutty, but a pleasant ale nonetheless. Tap at Blind Tiger. Reddish brown with a small white head. Nose is fruity and nutty, some spice (nutmeg?), cranberry, wood. Flavor is sweeter than the nose suggests, maple syrup, cinnamon, toasty malts. Medium bodied, a little sticky on the tongue. magdalar (535) - Zurich, SWITZERLAND - MAR 28, 2012
Bottle pour. Pours a clear amber with a thin dissipating white head. Smells of fruit, red, semi dried; caramel, malt, yeast. Tastes rather alcohol rich, sweet, with an lingering bitterness. Medium bodied, medium active carbonation, oily texture. Finishes dry with a lingering bitterness. Its tasty. dancehop (11) - - MAR 28, 2012

Un assaggio ai Troeggi, sarà che a me queste birre alle castagne non convincono, ma non mi è piaciuta Lubiere (14240) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - JAN 5, 2012
A hazed reddish copper ale with a thin lacing light mocha head. In aroma, a nice sweet spiced malt with dark fruits, banana esters, light smokey notes, very nice. In mouth, a nice peaty malt with prunes, bananas, a bit of cloves, rich and smooth. On tap at Birreria, Dec. 27 2011. craftycarl21 (2338) - Seattle, Washington, USA - JAN 3, 2012
Draught at Churchkey. Walnut colored pour. Nose and flavor are marked with present but uninteresting chestnut, sweet spice, caramel, and plum-like dark fruit. Not bad, but ehhh not exciting. jeremytoni (3085) - Swedesboro, New Jersey, USA - JAN 1, 2012
From the tap poured a brown color with almost no head. Light spicy malty flavor with a lingering finish.
