Patrickctenchi (6661) - Cox’s Knob, columbus, Indiana, USA - JUL 22, 2016
Bottle: Hazy, yellow-gold with a whipped, light beige head. Green tea, a bit of spray paint in the aroma. Taste is sharp green tea, wheat malt, light, sweet fruits....(Asian pear?), green banana.....a bit of spice. Unusual, but pretty satisfying. Really started to grow on me after a while.

shrubber85 (11506) - Greenville, Indiana, USA - JUN 2, 2016
Swing-top bottle. Intense tea aroma with lemon, orange, banana and wheat malt. Cloudy golden yellow with with giant off white head. Moderately sweet green tea, lemon, banana, clove, and wheat malt flavor. Body a bit light. Interesting but tea dominates all the other flavors.

weihenweizen (3984) - Charleston Area, West Virginia, USA - MAY 11, 2016
Refrigerated 0.5 L brow flip-top bottle poured into a weizen glass. Tawny way dense fluffy white head. Aroma is tea, medium chewy body, medium carbonation, and thick small-bubble lacing. Taste is tea, some lemon, and clove. Quite different.

dfearnley (2247) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - AUG 28, 2015
Bottle to tulip Despite being extremely careful, this bottle exploded. I lost a bit down the sink, but I was prepared with a glass. Because of this and the yeast, the appearance is going to take a hit. Aroma of candy, chlorophyll, rotten apple, plum, banana, wheat, and yeast. Appearance is a orangey brown sludge, with tons of effervescence, some large particulates and a 3 cm frothy off white head. Taste is pine sap, pepper, wheat and plum.

Idiosynkrasie (7711) - Bielefeld, GERMANY - JUN 18, 2015
750ml bottle. Barely clear, deep golden colour with small to average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Unspecific fruity, wheaty, minimally herbal and floral, yeasty aroma. Taste is slightly sweet wheaty, fruity, hints of apple and pear, herbal, floral and citrusy hoppy overtones, a mixture of lime, lemon and green tea; light and minimally watery. More a spiced Kristallweizen than a Hefeweizen.

Oakes (18186) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - MAR 21, 2014
Cloudy, pale. Strong weizenyeast aroma, with light hop fruitiness, lots of banana. Sweet character, hints of tannins from the tea, lending balance to an otherwise quite sweet bananaweizen.

thewolf (12706) - Kolding, DENMARK - JAN 4, 2014
Bottle, bought @ Belgian Beer Station. Gusher. Pours murky yellow with a medium, frothy white head. Aroma has sweet malts, wheat, apples, light banana, mild tea. Medium, prickly carbonation, fine light and mild grainy mouthfeel. Flavour has sweet malts, wheat, citrus, soft tea.

TBone (17779) - Pori, FINLAND - NOV 28, 2013
Bottled 750ml PBFVIII
Hazy yellow color, medium-sized white head. Herbal, banana aroma. Medium-bodied. Wheat, herbs and white pepper in the flavor. Not much tea but herbal weizen.

lusikka (7819) - Tampere, FINLAND - AUG 23, 2013
750 ml bottle @ PBF 2013.
Pours a cloudy yellow colour with a large foamy head. Aroma of wheat, caramel, grass and some bubblegum notes. Flavour of wheat, caramel malts, bubblegum, bitter green tea and mild banana notes. Medium bodied, smooth mouthfeel and soft carbonation. Weird and uncommon, but works nicely.

olio (10408) - Tampere, FINLAND - AUG 23, 2013
75 cl bottle @ PBF 2013.
Pours hazy golden color with a medium sized lasting head. Aroma of lemony fruits, hops, yeast, some grass and wheat. Flavor of citric fruits, yeast, grass and wheat. Very well balanced. Nice.
