A standard pale lager, yellow and not much head. Thin and not much aroma or flavor when cold. Warming up its gets a bit bitter-hopped. Mine was 4,6 Abv.

Cheapo can from Lidl. A thin, bland lager with a strong grain/cereal character. All malt doesn’t count for much, apparently. Poor.

Can. An average plae lager. Golden colour with a small creamy head. Aroma and taste of malts and hops. A beer labeled german quality should be much better. Shame on you.

UPDATED: JUL 4, 2011 June, 2006 Can from Lidl. A fat, creamy lager. Little of interest, but no significant off flavours. OK for washing down a baked spud. [2.2]
Nov, 2010 A clean and refreshing lager with modest but noticeable hop bitterness and a metallic malt. Drinkable but unremarkable. [2.4]

50cl can from Lidl. Clear, watery gold in colour, no head so to speak. A faint and slightly sweet aroma of floral hops and malt. Weak metallic hoppy taste, and an unpleasant bitter yet sour astringency in the finish. Tasted a bit flat too. Terrible, though what do you expect for 69p a can?
