Can - pours pale golden with a big bubbly white head. Good retention, weak lacing. Aroma of barley, hay and grass. Taste is grass, barley and a medium bitterness. Lots of lagery malts. A little sweetness and a little bit warming. Medium body, light carbonation.

Can, 500 ml, 11.3P
Appearance: Pours pale golden, yellowish, pee - like in body colour, carbonation of body is initially medium to high than quickly decreases to visually low while forming head. Head itself is initially quite huge, than slowly decreases to medium, frothy but not that dense, leaves some traces of lacing on the beer glass, body texture is quite clear and transparent.
Aroma: Very, very chalky, Pilsener like, typical in its pronounced grainy maltyness, some juicy malt and soft refreshing mineral accents, with very, very mild and gentle hoppyness on the top. Simple but pronounced, interesting and very Pilsener like.
Flavour: Mild, soft on palate, easy going, grainy, malty, leaves bitterness on the tongue in the aftertaste and when you swallow it, alcohol is slightly felt, but it’s not much disturbing, some herbal, soft aromatic hoppy nose. Finish duration is quite long, very well balanced and good quality beer, a really nice surprise.
Palate: Interesting on palate, lively ib its carbonation, a bit salty and slightly tangy. Body is light, texture is wattery to dry, carbonation on palate is lively, finish feel is chalky.

Just another lousy pilsner. Not something I would expect from a german beer. But as this is made just for supermarket Lidl it’s a solid beer.

500ml plastic bottle. A gift to me from the family of my sweet and lovable German exchange student. Drank in honor of her at our family cookout for the 4th of July celebration. I only see one other rating from an American member in here, so it’s a rarity if not a treat in the US. Pale golden beer with a medium white head. Aroma of pale malt and lightly floral hops. Seems to be a fairly standard mass produced pils. You certainly wouldn’t confuse it with any of the best of the style, but its drinkable and refreshing on this hot and humid Florida day. Sweet pale malts at the fore, then a saaz hop flavor and bitterness take over. Better than the average grocery store lager in the US.

500ml can pale yellow Taste: bit grain , more hops than average lager. For thirsty hot summer day middle of friends’ moving it was ideal for thirst

Plechovka z Lidla. Jemná, sladová vôňa, svetlá farba, slušná pena. Chuť sladová, bez chmelovej horkosti, mizerné europivo. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pale yellow colour , white dense head. Aroma too faint to write about. Same with the taste, maybe some malts. A bit of dryness in the aftertaste. light carbonation. What taste there is isn’t very good. (4.5%)

Bought from Lidl in a can. Pretty bog standard stuff. Weak in every area. Weak aroma, weak taste and absolutely no chance of me ever buying it again. Probably not as bad as Fosters/Carling but it just has a nastiness to the flavour that I just can’t put my finger on.
