The best a man can get! Elegantly brewed premium beer with a heavenly hop aroma. Perfectly bodied with a finish to die for. Absolute perfection.

grass, pale, golden, clear, frothy, What a superb budget pilsener . Nothing fancy . Good strength , clean crisp taste. Only 80p a can from lidl knocks spots of way more expensive beers . Not the most complex by any stretch and a tad watery but for the price excellent . Additional bonus is it appears thus far to be hangover free . A good session later ideal for a bbq.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Can from Lidl. Pours clear, very light yellow-gold with a fading, white head. Grain and mild metal in the nose, some mild flowers. Flavor isn’t too bad, lightly sweet with some sugar, dried cereal, faint, floral hops. Light to medium in body with a dense, creamy carbonation I don’t often encounter. Crisp and mostly clean to finish with some pleasant, earthen bitters, coupled with lightly sugary grain and cracker malts. Not altogether bad but a bit bland. The density of the beer, the creaminess seems to mask something. Hmm. Anyway, definitely drinkable.

[0.5l can] Yellowish golden colour, strong bittered taste with burned malt aftertaste, also has slight citrus notes that become less pronounced as you drink it. Overall there are way better pilsners but for the price i found it quite enjoyable.

UPDATED: FEB 8, 2006 Really strange, its it was very greenish the colour, and the aroma was like a low alcohol beer. The flavor alittle cornish, but I do not think they will use it.

0.5 l can. Nice golden body, with thick white head... Aroma of citrus hops. Flavor also standard of a lager, quite bitter, but on the other hand different - sweetish. Finish is short, bitter&sweet afterwards, not so bad but not very good. Quite average beer.

Bought at a store in San Sebastian. Just a regular pils - bitter, hoppy with strong aftertaste. Rather enjoyable, especially in its class.
