UPDATED: OCT 18, 2012 Rerate, 500 ml can, a gift from Germany. Produced in Germany for LIDL. ABV is 4.9%. Pale golden colour, large to moderate white head. The aroma has sweetish fruity notes, not unpleasant. A hint of honey. The flavour is fresh and medium sweet, some hops in the finish. Not too bad. Original rating: 500 ml can, bought at LIDL Norway. ABV here is 4.7%, to comply with our 4.75% upper limit for beers sold in grocery stores. Pale golden colour, fluffy large to moderate head, collapsing. Moderate aromatic hops with some slight sweet and flowery notes, hints of hay. Low carbonation, thin and watery mouthfeel. Onedimensional flavour where a not very pleasant bitterness of inferior hops dominate. Not good. (1.7.) raymondwave (931) - FINLAND - SEP 15, 2007
UPDATED: JAN 29, 2008 (Can 4.7 %, Lidl). Decent maltiness and some nice bitter hops. Actually pretty nice, more like a pils than pale lager. Tastier than finnish lagers. Re-rate: Dry and somewhat harsh bitterness, no aftertaste. Score lowered a bit. Still good for it’s price. mzaar (3593) - Varberg, SWEDEN - SEP 9, 2012
Kita (2211) - Koper, SLOVENIA - DEC 16, 2012
Bottled, 0.50l. Clear pale golden color with medium frothy white head and lively bubbles. Aroma of malt, hay, grassy hops and a bit skunky, too. Taste is classic crisp and dry pilsener with average hoppy finish. Light body, thin texture and lively carbonation in palate. Not that bad for the low cost beer... rouhlas (3736) - Thessaloniki, GREECE - JUL 10, 2015
330ml can at home. Clear golden color with white head. Malty aroma, grainy, grassy, light hoppy. Sweet and light bitter taste. Light thin to oily body with average carbonation.

Good gold colour, but head is very disappointing, little more than a collection of bubbles in the middle of my glass, 1 bubble thick! Nose is harsh & off-putting,use of hop extract very noticable. Palate, however, is nice & smooth, not much in the way of flavour tho’, light & slightly malty, thats about it really! Very average pils, ok when WELL chilled, not bad for the price I suppose, 59p from Lidl. Emil (6064) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - APR 29, 2005
Can. Golden colour with a medium white head. Malty hay aroma and a sweet light dry hoppy taste. Medium body and a dry finish. larsga (7625) - Oslo, NORWAY - SEP 23, 2006
Huge white coarse head over pale yellow body. Light sweetish aroma with notes of caramel, grain, and apple. Light, bitter taste of apple and chalk. Bitter, papery, grainy aftertaste. A bit lacking in body. Totally standard lager; a bit boring for a German pilsener. (0.5l can.) sirPino (883) - Zawiercie/Sosnowiec, POLAND - JUL 21, 2008

Can, 500 ml, 11.3P
Appearance: Pours pale golden, yellowish, pee - like in body colour, carbonation of body is initially medium to high than quickly decreases to visually low while forming head. Head itself is initially quite huge, than slowly decreases to medium, frothy but not that dense, leaves some traces of lacing on the beer glass, body texture is quite clear and transparent.
Aroma: Very, very chalky, Pilsener like, typical in its pronounced grainy maltyness, some juicy malt and soft refreshing mineral accents, with very, very mild and gentle hoppyness on the top. Simple but pronounced, interesting and very Pilsener like.
Flavour: Mild, soft on palate, easy going, grainy, malty, leaves bitterness on the tongue in the aftertaste and when you swallow it, alcohol is slightly felt, but it’s not much disturbing, some herbal, soft aromatic hoppy nose. Finish duration is quite long, very well balanced and good quality beer, a really nice surprise.
Palate: Interesting on palate, lively ib its carbonation, a bit salty and slightly tangy. Body is light, texture is wattery to dry, carbonation on palate is lively, finish feel is chalky.
Clear golden with large white head. Sweet malty aroma with caramel notes. Sweet flavour with ok malt base, caramel and hops. Finished mild bitter this one.
