The ’new’ one on draught at the Grafschafter Brauhaus and unfortunately not one of their best. The taste is simply way too uninspired for my liking. Tastes a bit like a pilsener with slight additions of yeast and malt. No specific taste that predominates in this beer. It is slightly bitter and a bit buttery. Seems to me that with this beer they could not decide what style they actually wanted this to be. Probably intended as a ’special’ for the local clientele; pilsener drinkers. Turned out to be neither a pilsener nor a ’special’. Definately not my bag. bierkoning (13813) - La Tropica/Doarp, NETHERLANDS - OCT 17, 2010
Tap @ Braustube. Looks attractive in its 300 ml glass. Malty but also very buttery aroma. Malty earthy bitter flavor with rancid butter. Diacetyl. Endless aftertaste, not to my pleasure.
