[email protected], Wolverhampton. Brownish red with small head. Slight aroma of bananas. Small head. Taste is a hint of bananas, toffee and alcohol (stronger taste than its ABV warrants.) Over ripe fruits and sour. Not a beer to my liking, but some may like it.

Gravity at The Nottingham Beer Festival. A clear deep amber colour with a medium off white head. Aroma of banana, toffee, some bready malts and subtle dark fruits. Taste of toffee, caramel, bready malts, some dark fruits, slight banana and subtle alcohol. Medium bodied and soft carbonation. A sweet, caramel finish. A lot more body and strength than I anticipated. Smells like banana but got lost in the flavour. Overall a strong, malty bitter.

Cask (Roebuck JDW, Nottingham) - Amber in colour. Sultanas and banana cake can be detected in both the aroma and the taste, but not much else is going on. I was expecting it to be a bit more sickly and sweet but it is quite nicely balanced.

A red coloured, sweet smelling beer with a banana and toffe taste. A smooth, sweet ending.

Darker than golden- I would say brown! Not a very strong smell from it but a very big hit of banana on tasting- similar to a banana toffo or banana yahoo with a slight coffee aftertaste. I rather liked it!

Cask at the Sussex Arms, Twickenham Green - 30/09/12. Clear dark golden verging on amber/brown with a bubbly off-white head. Sour nose, touch of bretts (although I dont believe they were used on this beer), some toffee. Taste largely follows the nose, sour tones, dark fruit, very slight hint of the banana in a banana/toffee chewy sweet kind of way also a little nutiness and spice. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation with a smooth bitter & sour finish. Interesting beer which I rather liked, although Im not sure it was intended to come out this way? One that was hard to categorise also. I was tempted to add as spice/herb/veg, but played safe with golden, feel free to amend!
