Not as good as the premium. Very bold an bitter and smells skunky. Pours a dark yellow in color and has a tough aftertaste.

A sweeter and lighter version of the Vienna than I prefer. Lacks the malt depth that you’d expect. Cousin_Larry (893) - - SEP 28, 2013
A darker version of the classic Grain Belt. Same sweet hints of blueberries, but almost no finish. Had this with a Juicy Lucy ar 5-8 Club. jmagnus87 (2912) - Rockford, Illinois, USA - AUG 26, 2013
Draft from notes. Very average and innofensive beer. Slightly sweet with corn and grains. Light and very drinkable. Good. csaso (2266) - Missouri, USA - AUG 14, 2013
Tap - good size foamy head, clear dark copper/amber color, malty aroma and flavor, not very sweet which is good, mild nuttiness, slightly dry finish

"The Belt" is an easy drinking, cheap alternative to all the macro choices out there. This is one for people who don’t want to be like every body else. By far, not the best beer out there, but definitely worth a try sometime. improvjock (328) - Seattle, Washington, USA - AUG 4, 2013
Clear bottle. Pours a clear, light brownish amber with minimal white head. Aroma of corn that is really overpowered by chemicals and Windex. Flavor is mildly sweet and buttery, with chemicals, a bit unnatural. Not the worst beer I’ve had by any means, but not so good. DiarmaidBHK (4797) - Lewisburg, Pennsylvania, USA - JUL 30, 2013
Draft at Sickie’s garage. Pours brown with a thin white head. Leaves little lacing in the glass. Has a slight caramel note on the nose. Has an even slighter caramel note on the tongue. Finishes clean. Not a great beer by any means but sometimes you just want something simple with your burger. Ericular (1016) - Minnesota, USA - JUN 24, 2013
Pours a nice golden amber, really clear with not much head or lacing. Aroma is lightly toasted malt, a little honey and bread. Taste is sweet, thin, with some cereal and grain. Palate is smooth, taste leaves quickly making it pretty refreshing. zjboever (1) - Maple Grove, Minnesota, USA - JUN 13, 2013 does not count
It wasn’t too dark or too light. Didn’t leave an aftertaste and gave me a good buzz. Will definitely drink again.
