Typical but decent dubbel. Bit too filtered, but nice dry toast and brown bread aromas, some clove and hay. Nice medium sweet body, bit watery perhaps and moderate abv could even be lifted a bit. So about 15 years ago me, my dad and granddad went for a walk into the region of Brasserie Grain d’Orge. After a visit we went home and I left with a smile, 6 bottles, glassware, flyers and coasters. After all these years I found them back in my cellar. Obviously they past prime a long time ago but still among the livings.
Something I can not say about my dad nor granddad. So this one goes out to their memory! Cheers dad! Cheers grandad!
