Med- low aroma. Head low to start and gone by half way. Pleasingly bitter and lengthy aftertaste. Bottle may have been hanging around in shop for a while mike_77 (7234) - Breda, NETHERLANDS - MAY 2, 2015
Cask. Hazy golden colour. Bit of a cheesy aroma with some fruity hops. Flavour is dry, woody. Earthy and grassy hops. madmitch76 (26413) - , Essex, ENGLAND - MAR 8, 2015

Bright clear gold beer, untidy pale cream colour head. Palate is smooth with mild fine carbonation. Smooth pale malts, mildly sweet, trace of cream. Hops start with a modestly bitter floralness. The mid brings mild pine, pith, citric fruits and a nice mild peach. Finishes smooth and semi dry. Mild bitter linger. Clean and pretty drinkable.
Cask @ Navigation Tavern Beer Festival, Mirfield. Potent and hoppy paler golden ale with a thick creamy-frothy head. It’s strength is evident with an understated tropical fruitiness that lingers in the palate. Beese (3296) - Watford, Hertfordshire, ENGLAND - SEP 15, 2014
Cask at the Red Squirrel Chesham Brewery Shop on 13 September. Poured a mid-golden colour, with a thin white head. Aroma of grapefruit, peppery hop and bready malt. Sweet fruit flavours; mango and lychee, mixed with biscuit. Finish was resin, dry grain and dried fruit.

Bottle. No head, very small light carbonation bubbles. Amber colour, cloudy and some sediment. Citrus aroma, lemons and grapefuit. This carries on in the taste, but bitter like grapefruit rind. The taste lingers, comes back in a second wave of bitterness too. Nice, but its difficult to distinguish much other than citrus. Sad24 (208) - GREAT YARMOUTH, Norfolk, ENGLAND - SEP 1, 2014
UPDATED: FEB 4, 2015 At the recruiting Sergeant in Horstead. A really good solid floral, citrusy hoppy ipa. Superb Garrold (5838) - Sheffield, South Yorkshire, ENGLAND - JUL 25, 2014
Bottle from the Real Ale Shop, Wells next the Sea, Norfolk. Hazy, pale amber. A film and a few bubbles of white head. Hmm, tastes a lot like butterscotch. And presumably that isn’t intended? Not a lot else, bar a background, light hop. Taste is more of that, with a fair amount of bitterness. Dry, bitter finish. Not great. Shame. There’s probably a good beer in there. chimpgibbon (575) - London, Bedfordshire, ENGLAND - JUN 11, 2014
Bottle from Real Ale Co.. Boasting crisp citra hops, this was however very generic English bitter ale, sweaty and lacking in fruitiness. Decent bitter finish but not complemented by any depth of character. To be fair probably better on cask. SaintMatty (7608) - Uppsala, SWEDEN - APR 18, 2014
Cask (Newcastle Beer Festival 2014) - Hazy golden in colour. Grapefruit, gooseberries and lemon in the aroma. Hoppy and fresh taste with tangy grapefruit dominating.
