Cask; Regular. Also available bottled.

A full strength mahogany coloured beer, which has a moreishness typical of a beer possessing the fine balance of pronounced hop bitterness & aroma against a natural malty sweetness, creating a deceivingly drinkable beer.

Cask @ Bankers Draft, Bedford. Golden brown, clear with not much head but decent lacing. Aroma of honey and wood. Mostly dry in the taste, a bit of bitter herb. Medium dry finish. I like it more over the course of the pint, which is a good sign. Am I warming to Grainstore? Watch this space.

Bronze-amber and bright. Complex malts - rich caramelized sugars, toastiness, and a moreish German country bread quality.

JDW Moon Under Water, Manchester 22 Jan 13. Gyldenbrun. Lavt tett skum. God ferskenaroma. Smaken det samme. Syrlig bitter ettersmak som varer lenge. Tørr avslutning.

Bottle @ Deans Winter Shelter Tasting, courtesy of jmgreenuk. Rutland tick, huzzah!! Pours a clear amber beer with a thin, off white head on top. Aroma is quite herbal, cinnamon and some caramel. Flavor is medium sweet with a watery mouthfeel. Quite a herbal take on the ESB style. Decent.

sic1314 (4775) - Leiden, NETHERLANDS - DEC 20, 2013
Poured medium amber with a small white ring. Aroma of sweet berries and caramel malt. Medium body, flavour much as the aroma, cherry and a lingering bitter sweet finish.

jmgreenuk (9547) - Kuala Lumpur, MALAYSIA - DEC 20, 2013
Bottle at Deans Winter Shelter Tasting. Poured a hazy medium amber with a bubbly white head. The aroma is weak malt. The flavour is medium bitter with a smooth malt hop palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

worldbeertaste (1804) - West Midlands, ENGLAND - DEC 20, 2013
Amber with a thin, white ring of a head. Slightly skunks, herbal, melon smell. Some sugar. Medium to oily body. Tastes of syrup with a bitter grassy malty bitter slightly ashy finish. Herbal mix.

Benzai (15931) - Oirschot, THE NETHERLANDS, NETHERLANDS - DEC 20, 2013
Sampled from bottle @ Deans Winter Shelter Tasting. Light amber color, small off - white head. Weird aroma of herbs and flowers. Taste malts, herbs, floral, lightly bitter. Average body, medium carbonation.
